Past Campaign: Dan Mahon Memorial

I met Dan while working as a camp manager with CTS. Dan was a member of the “Knuckleheads”, the best group of athletes you can ask for! They spoiled me, they were fun and such a treat to be around. I had no clue how they could ride, have fun, play and go for some drinks after camp. They were a joy. Dan for me was the calmest one, maybe he fooled me and the guys will say otherwise, but Dan had a soft voice and he would always ask me how I was doing.  He loved sharing stories about family! Lisa the love his life and the kids: Griffin, Spencer and Grace.  When I met Lisa I instantly fell in love with her, a caring giving person. Dan and Lisa were just the sweetest couple and an inspiration to others.- Belen. Co-founder of Project Bike Love.

Back in 2018, Dan, Boris, John and Michael started a campaign to deliver bikes to kids in Paraguay. Kids that were walking over 5 miles to school, with empty stomachs. They helped change those kids’ lives. They could make it to school faster, and have the breakfast provided at school.

Dan loved bikes and he loved people. The Mahon family  and all who loved him thought that the best way to honor his life would be spreading kindness  in the form of bikes.

Project Bike Love will be donating bikes in Dan's name to women and kids in North, Central and South America. His smile will continue in the smile of others.

The Mahon family will receive the story of every beneficiary, starting with  Native American kids in Lachatao, Oaxaca. Mexico.
